Things That I Hate

Airport Security

I wish they could just tell if we are good people, because I now have to wait in a super long line and take off my sweatshirt and shoes and wait while they make sure my phone isn’t a bomb or something. It’s such a pain in the butt!

  1. They have various methods being put in place, either to look at your face and “tell” what you’re going to do, or scan your brain remotely to determine whether you’re going to do something bad. The problem is, the methods are not scientifically proven, and they’ve already been proven unreliable, so it will end up to more hassle and, potentially, harassment of someone who has done nothing wrong.

  2. You wanna be safe and not have a repeat of 9/11? This is the price you have to pay.

I value my safety when flying over my comfort. Oh, boo hoo, you had to wait in a long line. Suck it up. It’s for your own good.

  3. Oh, so you would rather start profiling certain people? Accusing random people of being suspected terrorists? Now that’s an idea that’s sure to fly!

Really? People, come on! They do that for your safety. You can suck it up and thank them when you land safely at your destination.
