People Who Mumble Because They Have No Confidence, but Still Think They’re Funny
I cannot stand it when you are in a class, or a social situation, and there often seems to be that one person who mumbles side comments under their breath. Right after they say their “witty” comment, they laugh at a normal volume. Then, everyone has to stop the conversation, or look over during class and ask “What did you just say?” Sometimes that person repeats themselves, and it’s never funny. Then you are forced to awkwardly laugh. It slows or stops the good conversation you had going, or distracts you during a lecture. If you have something to say, say it so everyone can hear. Even if it turns out not to be the funny comment you thought it was, that situation happens to everyone. Grow a pair and speak.
