Things That I Hate

Getting in Trouble for Something I Didn’t Do

So I was sitting here, minding my own business and making myself dinner, and my brother came in and spat in my food. I slapped him on the arm and he took a knife and threatened me. So I took a tray to shield myself. We argued back and forth, saying “put it down”. To scare me, my brother called the cops and hung up. I told him not to. but he did anyway. I was sick of his crap, so I went up to my room to watch TV. All of a sudden my mom called me downstairs. As soon as I get down there, both of my parents were cussing me out. They pointed outside and the cops were sitting in the driveway. I told them that I didn’t call them, my brother did, but they said, “well, you were watching him, so it’s all your fault.” I got everything entertaining taken away from me and I got grounded for a long time!

  1. You were watching him. It is your fault. You are responsible for anything he does and thus should prevent him from doing things you don’t want him to.
