When People Tell You How to Act
I get that you think what I’m doing or how I act is wrong, but I never asked you. I don’t care what you think or want. And don’t act like you know what’s best for me. I am who I am. I might be considered beyond help to some people, but I am me. I’m banned from my local mall for skating, have one or two piercings, wear my makeup a little too dark, and play guitar—but that’s me. How do you suggest I act?
