Things That I Hate

I don’t mean all smokers, but the ones who sit right outside the door of a building and smoke or walk slowly in front of you on the sidewalk just puffing away. I have asthma and it’s hard enough to breathe on a humid day, so when you blow your smoke into the small area in between the sidewalk and the door I have to inhale it. But it doesn’t stop there, because when I open the door, the smoke is sucked in and follows me up the stairs, leaving me gasping for air.

Oh, and not only that, after the few seconds of being in the fog of your smoke, I reek. Now my hair smells like a chimney instead of my shampoo.

It’s perfectly fine if you want to give yourself cancer, but why do I have to suffer for it too?
