Friends That Ditch You

I’ve been friends with a girl for my whole life, we’re neighbors, we go to the same school and are in the same class, but she stopped talking to me, hardly says anything, and left me while she hung out with other people. I made new friends, and one girl I always hung out with every day we were best friends. I came into school today so excited to see her, and guess what? She made a whole bunch of new friends and left me standing there. I can’t take two friends ditching me for someone new. I hate my class. I have other friends but they’re in another class and I would ask to switch but a bully is in their class. Now I’m the awkward girl that has nobody to talk to. Happy school year to me!
