Why can’t we all just have the same time? It’s confusing and annoying. Also it’s annoying that in the morning when I wake up, somebody on the other side of the country is still sleeping.

Well, the Earth is kind of round, you know? So only part of it can be facing the sun at one time. And as you move across the earth, the sun will be in different places in the sky, therefore, it is a different time of the day. Also, people have to get up while you’re still sleeping too.
