Apologizing for Something I Didn't Do
I am not at fault. I have committed no crime. Why do you hassle me over a tiny thing that I didn't do? You also get angry because I don't apologize for it. If I apologize, that would mean I take the blame for someone else. That is lying. Even if I do apologize, will you still hassle me for lying?

Don't apologize, then, if you are truly not at fault.
Jonathan: Yeah...that doesn't work.
What doesn't work about it? If someone gets irrationally angry at me and blames me for things I did not do, they are not someone I want to be around, and I won't waste any further time attempting to please them, and I won't apologize for things I didn't do.
He's got a point there.
I was thinking more on the lines of girlfriends. I will argue my case to the bitter end with a guy, but it's easier to just say "Yes dear" than deal with that which hell hath no fury like.
I wouldn't be interested in maintaining a long term relationship with someone who is frequently irrational.
