Things That I Hate

“Gangstas”

I’m in high school. Everywhere I look, I see some moronic teenager saying “Yo wassup mah n***a?” or “You mad beastin’!” Speak proper English and pay attention to your work! And if I use a “large” word like “unbelievable”, they say, “Yo, stop tryna be all smart and s*** when you ain’t!” Excuse me? I didn’t understand half of what you just said, jackass. Many of them walk into class halfway through and then disrupt those of us that care! If you can’t keep your attendance, don’t come at all!

  1. A response to this (if there ever is one) will never reach me. I do not know why StumbleUpon brought me to this website. I do not care. I realise that you are in high school, so I will not hold your ignorance of the real world against you. Nor will I criticise your lack of understanding of the cultural differences around you. Nor am I "gangsta" in any way. In fact, I am quite the opposite. It is surprising, apparently, when I show even the slightest interest in rap music and, what has come to be known as, "Ebonics." I will not go into the subject and how your misinterpretation of it makes you seem as idiotic and meaningless to society as those whom you perceive to be thus. I am no scholar. Nor am I mad. I guess, in the end, I can just summarise what I wanted to say like this: I cannot, ironically, tolerate intolerance.

  2. I hate when people write comments pretending not to care about the very thing they are commenting on. Or when they make absolutely no sense whatsoever. (cough *Luis* cough)
