Articles Which Refer to a Website Without Linking to It
This seems to be a holdover from the linear, static age of print journalism, when there was no such thing as linking: An article is written about a website, with lots of detail about its functionality, but by the time you’ve reached the end of the article and are excited and ready to go try out this great new site, you have yet to find the URL anywhere.
It's obvious. Write about a website and people are going to want to go there. So tell them how.
