People Who Claim Things That Aren’t Theirs

I love my friends, but I also hate them sometimes. If they see something on TV the night before, they think that they have a right to make a claim on it as long as they say it first. According to them, I cannot make these emoticons: ={D, :D, B), or :p. Also, I cannot say the words “confuzzled” or “lawls”. They obviously did not invent these words. Why can’t I use them too?

  • Wow, are they like, what, four years old?? I've used both "lawl" and "confuzzled" when I was ten. They didn't invent them, don't own legal rights to them, so they can't say things like, "You can't say/use that! It's MY word/thing!". I totally feel ya.
