I cannot stand when a professor has the indecency to accept the fact that the repetition of a certain fact won’t stick it any more securely to the inside of our skulls. Telling us that the Cold War was a war fought almost solely with satellite countries and espionage is all fine and well, but separating the fact and delivering it into bite sized packages over and over again, with the added promise of more such learning the next time the lecturer returns to us. It’s like listening to a band that sings the same song with slightly different words thirteen times and then calls it an album (i.e. Nickelback). I hate Nickelback professors.
