Why is it that every new movie coming out lately is 3D? I just don’t understand it. Including that new 3D television that only comes with two pairs of glasses, making it ridiculously pointless.

Because studios like to jump on a gimmick they think can make them a lot of money rather than risk producing a good movie people might not like.
It’s a fad that’ll pass once everyone that buys a 3D TV gets a continuous pounding headache.
