  3. Yes, you can. You just need to avoid sentence fragments where some context is missing. In response to something which provides the additional context, it is perfectly valid.

  6. No, you don’t. That’s an archaic rule which makes no sense in non-fragmented sentences. “Because” is the ideal prefix on a response to “Why…?” in a conversational context.
