People Who Make You Say “Please”

I went to the reception area at my school and asked if they had any Band-Aids, to which the woman at the desk replied, “…please?” in a very rude tone. I’m sorry, but I didn’t know if you had any—that was the whole point of the question. I’m not going to say “please” until I’m sure you have them.
