When They Show Reruns on TV

Come on! Who wants to see shows that were cancelled? They were cancelled for a reason!

  1. Reruns aren’t necessarily of canceled shows, for starters. Networks often rerun episodes of shows that are still airing, as filler and for people who missed past episodes. Shows that have ended, without being canceled, are often put into syndication where other networks air them. And then there are canceled shows, which often still have several million fans, and are likely to gain more with each airing. Canceled does not mean bad, it means not profitable for the channel.

    For example: Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Life, Terriers, Deadwood, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Futurama, Freaks and Geeks… I could go on.
