Things That I Hate

My Life

I’ll probably never have a normal relationship with my parents, the guy I like thinks I’m a stalker, and I’m depressed. Nothing makes me feel better, it just constantly feels like I’m being hit in the chest with a stone.

  1. I’m willing to bet that those with normal relationships with their parents are the exception, not the rule. Don’t beat yourself up over it.

The guy you like, does he really think you’re a stalker (and if so, why?) or is it something you’ve talked yourself into believing so that you don’t have to do anything about it?

You’re depressed, talk to someone about things. See a doctor or counselor. It’ll help.

  2. Find something you really enjoy and do it. Do it as much as possible. It has to be a constructive activity though, or you will get stressed out. Preferably a physically demanding one that can help relieve stress and is good for both your body and your mind. Having a reachable goal really helps in a time like this.

When I was in your position, doing Parkour helped me release stress, anger and energy and it made me feel free and unbound by arbitrary things. Most importantly, it gave me confidence knowing that I was good at something few people could do. Find something to help you through this tough time and things will get a lot better.
