I just charged my iPod and the battery indicator is full green. Then ten minutes later I look again and it’s already red and has 15% left. How did that happen?

Either:
1. A bad battery.
2. Constant part drain/charge cycles have messed it up.
3. Old battery. They don’t last forever.
Sometimes, when a device is turned on, the battery indicator starts out full. Not sure why, but it seems to happen to me often.
