“That’s crap, listen to this!”
I hate it when people say that! A friend of mine was looking through my iPod and she shook her head and gave me a few of her CDs (Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, etc.), which she knows I don’t like. I haven’t listened to Lady GaGa’s new song, don’t know anything off of Katy Perry’s new album and I’m still alive. Just let me stick to my own music, okay?

If Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are being offered as superior to your existing music library, just what are you listening to?
Feel free to respond to offers of this kind with “heard it, not really my thing, thanks.”
I’m going to emphasize this part, because I’ve said it before: it’s okay to not like something.
As of this moment, nine people have disagreed with this post. I think it’s safe to guess that all nine of them missed the point.
I totally agree! I hate when people tell me to turn my music off because they don’t like it. Be kind, and ignore it then. There are better things out there then Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber. No offense to the fans of that music, but there will always be something better out there.
I’m the OP and I was listening to Muse, Queen, AC/DC, Nirvana—quality music.
