Using Shortened Phrases and Internet Slang Outside of the Internet
I just hate people who use words like “noobâ€, “pwned†and “owned†more than necessary during the day. Say it once and I don’t mind, but please, oh please don’t use it every time you win a bet, or someone loses a game of rock, paper, scissors. What I hate most of all is “IDKâ€. It’s true, I’ve met people who use this on a daily basis. It’s usually children of 13–16. Someone might ask a question like “what’s the time?†Then they’ll respond to this before anyone else can tell the time with a blatant, loud, “IDK!†Leave these words and phrases to MSN and don’t use them around people.
