People Who Hate Things Just Because They Are Popular

It really bugs me when people clearly blow something off just because lots of other people like it. Everyone does it, even me. Why is it that we have to be so different that we feel we have to lie to everyone about what we like and dislike? Everything from music to movies and even things like video games and books, if something is popular, it’s usually for a good reason, (usually—*cough*notincludingtwilight*cough*) so give stuff a chance! You could find you like something new, and even make some new friends in the process! (I’m looking at you, complainer about Twilight and Harry Potter, they may not be well written in your opinion, but they certainly have something that makes all of those people like them!)
