The Belief That Scientists Are All One Group

I hate the generalization that “the scientific community” operates as one body, as though there isn’t loads of infighting and peer review. This common misconception allows stupid people to enter real arguments and then Dunning-Kruger themselves right back into a land of blissful ignorance.
