American Flag Rules
I hate that there are so many rules about the American flag. You can’t put it outside in the rain, you can’t hang it upside down, etc. I am so afraid to even draw the American flag in case I get sent to jail because it didn’t have enough stars on it, or I used scarlet rather than red.

They can’t punish you for disrespecting the flag. If you want you can throw it on the ground in front of Arlington Cemetery. They legally can not punish you. The “rules†are more like guidelines.
In Denmark, it is illegal to hang the flag after sundown.
To me the flag is a pretty piece of fabric. People take it too seriously. I care more about what it represents.
