School, Bullies, and Drugs

I love education. I’m a straight A student. I have tons of extra credit in every class. I’m short and kind of chubby. I’m really shy. I never talk to anyone unless they talk to me, and when I try to talk to people, they laugh and make fun of me. The only reason I’m shy is because people like you make me afraid to be myself. School these days is not a safe environment. There are tons of kids at my school who do drugs. There are tons of kids who drink and they are already sexually active! I’m in 8th grade! I think there need to be some changes. Big changes. I don’t know what, I don’t know how. Parents think school is a good place for kids. Kids come home every day and get in trouble for saying or doing things they aren’t allowed to do. The parents wonder “where did they learn that from?” The answer is very clear: It’s school, and its the negative influences!
