Girls Who Get Away With Anything

Today, there were no seats on the bus, so I sat down next to an acquaintance of mine who is rather popular and had seemed nice. She flipped out, saying the extra space was for her friend, who had not yet boarded the bus. I calmly started to explain that there was nowhere else to sit, but was interrupted by her repeatedly kicking and shoving me, until I fell out of the seat and landed on my hip, which left me limping the rest of the day. Everyone I told simply said “But she wouldn’t do that! She’s so sweet!”
