When People Judge Others by Their Looks

There is this guy in my class who has one blind eye. It used to really creep me out, and I tried to avoid him because I’d always feel uncomfortable next to him. Today we were partners in a class we both take and at first I was like “Why? Why me? And why with him?!” and I tried to not talk to him because I was grossed out. But we finished the assignment early, so he started a conversation with me and it turned out he is a really cool person. Now I just feel like a jerk because I didn’t notice his awesome personality behind his appearance. People, don’t be like me. I feel so dumb.
