People Who Constantly Edit Their Comments

Okay. I understand deleting a comment that is stupid, mean, overly sarcastic or demeaning. But must you take off a simple, “Hey, how’s college treating ya?” or “I guess you have a lot of free time now, huh?” It really isn’t helping your so-called “mystique” factor. What it’s really doing is demoting yourself in my view, and the views of others who saw that a harmless comment was removed, and the views of everybody else who I end up telling about your incessant comment editing. Seriously. It’s not getting you anywhere. Just stop.
