Every time my friends text me, it looks like this: “hiii . ( : how are you ? Want to go eat pizza , later ? K , bye .†It doesn’t make their writing unique or cool at all!

Apparently, you actually mean space before each punctuation mark, not after. You’re supposed to put spaces after each punctuation mark.
Bronzelike: Except for opening quotation marks and parentheses, apostrophes, hyphens (except in cases as demonstrated two words from now), em- and en-dashes, asterisks… et cetera.
