Senseless Protocol
I cannot stand it when small businesses try to make themselves more “efficient†by trying to model themselves after corporations, and, in doing so, enforce a ton of senseless rules which they deem “protocolâ€. I loved my job before you started telling me I couldn’t use my own common sense. I would have done anything for your company before you made me dread coming to work every day so that I could listen to a moron who has been working for your company â…“ as long as I have tell me how incompetent I’ve been because I didn’t follow protocol and run everything by him before I did it. You’ve made all your employees into enemies—that’s really efficient. Good job.
