Being Misunderstood

I was in math class the other day and my teacher said something really Southern. I don’t talk Southern so I said, “you said that really Southern” to my teacher. He said, “you don’t talk like that?” I said, “no, I’m not from the South.” He replied back, “where are you from?” I said “Florida.” The whole class made fun of me and called me stupid. They said, “that is as far south as you can go, dummy!” I know it’s in the south part of America, but we do not talk or act “Southern”! Now everyone makes fun of me. I just hate it!
