People Who Get Mad when I’m Doing My Job

I’m a hostess. I have been cursed at because our restaurant doesn’t take reservations (it’s policy). A woman cursed at me because there was a wait for a table and all we had were booths (she could fit in the booth). I absolutely hate the people who come up every ten minutes during a wait to see how long they have. I tell them the wait is 2 hours and they complain saying they’ve been waiting over 2 hours even though they’ve only been waiting 45 minutes. Honey, I wrote down the time that you walked in… I know how long you’ve been waiting.
