The Plastic Tag Connectors on Price Tags

I don’t want to waste time grabbing scissors to cut them, so I rip them in half and they either hurt my fingers like they’re made of steel or rip a hole in the fabric they’re attached to. Then they fall on the floor and are hard to find and throw out. Almost everyone I know has one or two of these things hidden under a bed or bureau… mocking them.
