People Who Hate On Cops

The police have an unbelievably hard job. Particularly if they work in an urban area. Their job basically involves a small percentage of their time spent in situations so terrifying they would make most people crap their pants, and the rest of their time is spent doing mind-numbingly boring yet necessary tasks that make everyone else hate them. I know it’s fashionable to hate the police, to complain about them because they gave you the socially agreed-upon punishment for doing something illegal or dangerous in broad daylight. And yes, there are jerks who abuse their power and ought to be removed from their positions. But most of them are nice people in a tough situation, trying to do the best thing for the rest of us.
