No Need to Shout

I hate when people insist on always typing with the caps lock on.

“HEY, TOM, LONG TIME NO SEE. HOW ARE YOU?”

I understand what you’re trying to say, all that does is make me shout the words in my head. Worse than that, though? The people that type with symbols, replacing letters.

“Hey, Sara, how’s life?” is turned into “h3Y $@R@, H0w$ lYf3?”

Why?!?! How on earth does that improve your sentence? Does it make it look nicer? Does it make it easier to read? No. It’s pointless. And stupid. And you’re not clever. Grow up.
