Parents That Treat You Like a Pet

I don’t care that you used to change my diapers, I don’t appreciate it when you talk down to me, yell at me, make me follow you around everywhere, ignore what I have to say, and expect me to obey your every command. It’s not 1910 and I’m more independent and clever than you assume. Stop treating me like a disobedient puppy that deserves a spanking and just listen to me.
