My Dogs Internal Clock

My dog insists on sleeping on my bed with me. If I don’t let him up on the bed (he’s a small dog and I have to help him up) he’ll whine until I can’t take it anymore. And then, every morning at 6 AM he wakes up and barks and whines to be let outside. I know he’s a responsibility and that’s why I always get out of bed and tend to his needs, but come on! I’m so tired I just want to sleep. Why can’t you sleep in too, my furry little friend?
