Being Shy

I am really shy and I feel that whenever I talk to a guy I get really nervous and feel like I don’t look good or I have a huge zit on my chin or something. So now I’m trying to ask this guy I like to winter formal and I’m nervous but I really want to do it. So why am I so nervous? Because he is one of my friends. I just don’t like it that I am so shy.
