Calling Roads Highways

I hate when people refer to a one lane stretch of road as a highway. Just because it is labeled with a number does not make it a highway. At the very most that makes it a route. Interstate 5 across California is seven lanes in each direction at one point; that is a highway. Your one lane street does not count.
