Dog Personifiers
Some people are foolish enough to adopt a dog without knowing the first thing about them. I have a few neighbors like that. If you are going to adopt a dog, do your homework and be ready to train them. There is no such thing as a bad dog, only a bad owner. The worst of these people are the ones who humanize dogs. Dogs do not have language centers in their brains, thus they do not understand a single word other than the ones they have been taught directly or learned on their own by consistent association, like how some dogs get excited when they hear the word “walkâ€. They don’t know what an airplane is, so stop calling them stupid for barking at one. To them, it’s a scary, loud sky beast. They don’t come programed knowing that it’s not okay to do their business inside or that your food is off limits. They need to be taught just like you when you were a baby.

THANK YOU. I'm a vet, I hate when the clients humanize their pets. It's annoying and troublesome most of the time. Dogs are dogs, not people with fur!
It get's even more annoying when people spoil their dogs as if they were their own children. I have a friend who lives with her grandmother. Her grandmother is a poodle breeder but she only has a few dogs of her own,But she spends ruffly $3,000 more on her own dogs than my friend and her little sister a year. That's mainly costs of food and living and such. Not even clothing and little odds and ends which are usually bought from garage sales for them.
