People who hate when I say like ummmm

I like to say like so when I’m telling a story or just like taking I always say like ummmm like ummm so here’s an example. Last month in class I was going up and explaning this science thing and I kept saying like ummmm likeee ummm and people wouldn’t stop laughing but I wasn’t even trying to be funny
