Really, there’s no such thing as a waffle. It’s just a pancake with weird jiggles in it. Waffles are good, but really, the only difference is the name. Plus it’s fun to say. Waffle.

That's not true! Waffles can hold the syrup much better than pancakes but it's harder to spread butter on waffles. They have their advantages. I prefer waffles.
They're both good. The batter is different, between the two, so you can't say they're the same.
