So Called Non-Conformists

The thing that annoys me and makes me look at people and go, “wow, what a dumbass” is when people complain about things being too “conformist”. “Hollister is so conformist”, or “Oh, dude, the songs in the charts are so conformist.” It just sounds ridiculous. Some people seem to replace the word “popular” with the word “conformist”. Yes, well done, this is a Superdry T-shirt. And no, I’m not being “conformist” by wearing it, I just happen to like it. And if other people wear similar clothes, that must mean this T-shirt is popular. Not conformist. Those songs are in the charts because they’re popular. That’s the point of having the charts. I’m going to say it just one more time to try and drill it into some people’s minds. Popular and conformist are different things. Besides, no one wants to be conformist, so that makes most people non-conformist. Wait, what, you’re non-conformist? That’s so conformist.
