Patronizing Girls with Boyfriends

You know the ones. They have supportive, loving boyfriends, and they tell you, “Don’t worry, it’ll happen for you someday!” or “Maybe you should stop trying so hard”, when they’re the ones who act as if the world revolves around them and their boyfriends, and they never acknowledge that they’re lucky and not many girls find supportive boyfriends at their age. Some of them have the audacity to flirt with other guys, and take their situation for granted by complaining about the smallest things (“He didn’t call me five times today!” or “He added another girl on Facebook!”), and when you try to talk to them about your issues, some of which are much more important than theirs, they either ignore you completely or give a one-line response, as if nothing in your life is very consequential, and you’re just being selfish by talking about your (boyfriend-less) life for once.
