Things That I Hate

People Who Start an Argument, Then Act Like a Victim

I like to think I’m good at arguing. Hey, maybe it’s an inborn talent.

So it really irks me when someone says something that I proceed to refute. They then start to argue with me, which is fine. A casual disagreement doesn’t have to be a big deal.

Like I said, though, I’m good at this. I don’t back down, I try to counter all of my opponent’s points, and I’m fairly hard to convince.

But what really bothers me is when my opponent starts acting passive-aggressive, and they resort to “You know what? I’m not arguing with you about this!” Then they mope around for a while and hardly talk to me at all. It’s ludicrous. You started the argument, you should have the guts to finish it, or take a loss once in a while.
