Ads Which Don’t Make Sense

I saw this ad on TV the other day where a guy in a tuxedo was walking in slow motion across a volcanic island with lava pouring out of the ground and meteors falling from the sky, and a soft Spanish-accented voice says something like “sometimes the only true freedom is when you are in the greatest danger”. Then it’s revealed the ad is for deodorant. How does that have anything to do with deodorant?
