Aggressive Drivers

Aggressive drivers really get under my skin. Do they think that I don’t want to get to my destination as much as they do? I especially hate the following examples of aggressive drivers:

• The driver behind you who, when entering a freeway, speeds up and cuts you off from entering. Wait your turn, buddy!
• The red light racers who, as you slow down gradually to come up to a red light, swerve around you, going 50 MPH, then have to immediately slam on their brakes. Did that get you to your destination faster?
• The Nascar wannabees who swerve across three lanes of traffic and back again to move up one car length. Is that really worth putting everyone’s lives in danger?

And yes, I am the guy you hate, driving slow in the left lane until you try to pass me, then get stuck behind an 18-wheeler. Then I speed up, chuckle to myself, and add a notch to my steering wheel.
