Things That I Hate

When People Make a Big Deal About My Eating Habits

I am a vegetarian and it seems that whenever I go to someone’s house for dinner, they either spend the entire dinner questioning my eating preferences or just pretend that I don’t have any. They find a way to put meat in everything, apparently thinking that I will be forced to eat it and decide I don’t wont to be a vegetarian any more. Now, I’m not saying they should go out of their way to make something just for me, but it would be nice if they didn’t put bacon in the salad… or the spinach… or the pasta… I mean, you invited me over for dinner, knowing I am a vegetarian.

Also, I am pretty sure the only topic during most of these dinners is my eating habits. I do not really feel like spending what I thought would be a fun night trying to explain my eating habits to you. It’s fine if you love meat and eat multiple cows a day, but don’t tell me I’m wrong for not and don’t invite me to your house for dinner if you want to force me to eat differently.
