Microsoft Office formats have become fairly standard throughout the world due to its high availability on Windows. Due to Microsoft’s clear lack of computer security experts, these formats are plagued with defects and vulnerabilities that allow viruses to be propagated through macros within these documents. Microsoft also continues to provide notoriously bad versions of their software for anything except the latest version of Windows.
