I hate when I’m on the phone and it gets really silent and awkward, or when I tell the person I’m talking to that I have to go and they ask “why?†or don’t let you go.
People Telling Me What to Do
I’m going to high school next year and I had to choose between two schools. I shadowed both and chose one. However, the one I chose is in a bad part of the neighborhood and has some gangs at the school. People are trying to convince me to switch to the one I didn’t like. I don’t care if some people are in gangs and do drugs, that’s not me! I’m big enough to make my own decisions! Let me make my choice!
When People Discriminate Against Gay Marriage
It shouldn’t matter who anyone marries. I was at my friend’s Catholic church and there was a petition to make gay marriage illegal. Honestly, why should it make a difference if a man marries a man or a woman marries a woman? If you don’t like gay marriage, then don’t marry someone of the same gender! No one has the right to tell someone else that they can’t.
Cliques
I have two best friends on my soccer team and last week my coach told me not to hang out with them because we are too much of a clique. That’s not a clique, it’s called having a best friend. A clique is where people form groups, think that they are so cool, and are brats to everyone else. I would know—I have to deal with them every day at school. My coach wouldn’t last an hour at my school, let alone a day. Even my parents said that I should still be their friends because it’s my life and I should live it how I want. It’s disgusting that people think they know so much about you when they don’t have the slightest clue.

I can’t stand girls that are like fifteen years old and strongly believe they are in love with some guy they’ve been dating for a month. Come on, girls, you have your whole lives ahead of you, don’t ruin them over older high school guys that are just gonna hurt you in the end.
