My boyfriend pushes me around, he’s mean and has a bad attitude, and when I try to leave him, he says he’s gonna kill me or beat the crap out of me. Sometimes he can be nice, but I hate being scared of him.

Drugs

Why do people use them when there are other positive things you can do to feel good? You don’t have to do drugs to be happy!

Ruining the Moment

Don’t you hate it when you’re in the middle of something fun, romantic, amazing or just something you enjoy, and and then either your parent, little brother, random stranger or friend just comes and totally ruins it by saying something like “time to come in for dinner”?

Having to Leave when I Don’t Want To

I was at karate and I was having a blast, just running around, practicing and hanging out with my friends. Then my dad came and said we had to go and I didn’t want to leave.

Being Friends With Someone I Don’t Like

I’ve been friends with this girl for ages, but recently I’ve noticed all our differences. I’m private, and I guess I’d call myself “romantic”. She gets in everyone’s business, and goes to discos and makes out with complete strangers. I don’t understand it! Sometimes she is so inconsiderate and annoying. I don’t want to just say “I don’t like who you’ve become and don’t want to be friends”, but she has really changed.

Pointless Extra Work

I hate how teachers add something stupid to our assignments that is a pointless waste of time! My teacher had us do a book report, but instead of just doing a regular book report, there was extra work added: instead of writing it on paper, we had to make a stupid sandwich out of construction paper and then glue our work onto that! Biggest waste of time ever!

People Who Are Rude to Their Parents

I do have the occasional argument with my parents, but I don’t call them names, or shout or be that unreasonable. My friend constantly shouts at her dad (who is really nice) and calls him names. She makes unreasonable demands and is just a brat.

My Hair

It’s so thick and never does what I want it to do. I have to use like a bottle of hairspray whenever I do my hair. It takes over an hour to straighten it. It doesn’t curl or crimp at all. I hate my hair.

When People Say Horse Riding Isn’t a Sport Because the Horse Does All the Work

I have dedicated a very large portion of my life to riding horses, and I am very good at it. Whether I’m riding or just hanging out with them, I love knowing that I have someone who loves me that is non-human. But I hate this:

“I do sports.”

“So do I.”

“No you don’t!”

“I ride horses.”

“That’s not a sport.”

“Why not?”

“ ’Cause the horse does all the work! All you have to do is sit there.”

“Okay then, get on!”
